  1. HondaJet Gains Canadian Certification
The HondaJet is well into the ramp-up process of delivering customer bound aircraft but the company is still slowly spreading its wings around the world in terms of gaining certification approvals. The latest came from the Canadian Authorities. On June 1, Transport Canada validated the HondaJet clearing the way for the aircraft to operate in Canada under Canadian registration.
  2. “We are proud to achieve Canadian certification for the HondaJet, which signifies it meets the high safety standards governed by Transport Canada,” said Honda Aircraft Company President and CEO Michimasa Fujino. “With multiple orders in the pipeline, achieving this important milestone will now allow us to begin HondaJet deliveries to our Canadian registration customers.” So far, HondaJet has approval from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) , EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) and Mexico (Directorate General of Civil Aviation). “Honda has a strong reputation in Canada. The HondaJet, with its high performance and superior fuel efficiency, further builds on that positive brand image,” said Marshall Myles, Chairman and CEO for Skyservice. “We are proud to represent the HondaJet in Canada.
