  1. Wisk Building Its First Four-Passenger Design eVTOL
Wisk has been busy testing its Wisk Cora 2-passenger version of the eVTOL but they have the first full-scale 4-passenger eVTOL vehicle in build at the moment which is the version that is expected to hit the market. This all-electric aircraft will be able to 'wisk' its passengers on journeys up to 60 miles. The two-seat test version has already surpassed 1,600 test flights in various locations helping to mature the development of the design.
  2. Wisk is currently at the 2022 edition of the Farnborough International Air Show with the 2-seat version. Looking into the future, when the company attains certification, they will operate the air-taxi services themselves initially. The aircraft will be autonomous in the sense that they will be controlled via a ground station. Boeing is a major backer in Wisk and earlier this year invested nearly 500 million dollars in the eVTOL program. Boeing and Airbus are always head-to-head and even in the eVTOL sector they are competing. Remember Airbus also has the CityAirbus NextGen eVTOL. The full-scale 4-passenger version of the Wisk is expected to be unveiled later this year.
