  1. Piaggio Avanti EVO Gains EASA Certification
The Middle Eastern Business Aviation Show (MEBA) has served to be the public platform to announce that Italian airframer Piaggio Aerospace's Avanti EVO gained EASA Certification. The Avanti EVO is the third generation unique 'pusher-prop' business aircraft that boasts superior comfort and speed in the turboprop category. The EVO just received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) after long and intensive work in test and development programs, overseen by the Italian National Civil Aviation Agency. In the coming weeks it is expected that the EVO will gain certification from the U.S counterparts, the FAA as well as the Indian Safety Authorities. The first two deliveries of the third-generation EVO will be going to Indian clients.

Carlo Logli, Chief Executive Officer of Piaggio Aerospace said, The EASA certification for our Avanti EVO marks a red letter day and demonstrates Piaggio Aerospace commitment to business aviation. The Avanti, which already is an icon for safe, efficiency, and comfortable travel has evolved with improved performance, comfort, reduced emissions and has extended its range. The Avanti EVO is an intelligent solution for business travelers, blending the very best of Italian style and the most advanced aerodynamic concepts giving operators and passengers more efficiency than ever before”.
