I've read that a Cirrus SR22 crashed in Missouri mid last month? N436KS was the reg number of the aircraft. The plane vanished from radar after requesting ILS approach.

The preliminary NTSB report can be found here: LINK

Given that the plane went down 40 minutes after take-off, it doesn't seem likely that it was overloaded or it would never have gotten off the ground in the first place, unless the pilot didn't have enough fuel in the tanks given the load he was carrying. But would someone really trying budgeting fuel that tightly on just a 40 minute flight?

    Lots of possible scenarios, unfortunately.
