  1. Gulfstream G700 Finally Enters Service
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finally given full certification to the Gulfstream G700. The aircraft model should be in service already by nearly two years. Extra scrutiny on the American regulatory and safety body in the wake of the Boeing and 737 Max issues has added numerous extra and more rigourous certification parameters for Gulfstream to meet before the G700 could be finally certified.
  2. "We have successfully completed the most rigorous certification program in company history with the G700," said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. "I’d like to thank our world-class team of flight test, certification, and engineering professionals, along with the many others at Gulfstream who have contributed to this accomplishment. The G700 brings a new level of performance and cabin comfort to business aviation and is doing so while meeting the highest certification standards our industry has ever seen…I am proud and excited to begin our G700 customer deliveries."
  3. The G700 is the highest performing Gulfstream jet to date with a range of 7,750 nautical miles and top Mmo of Mach 0.935. It is now the fastest Gulfstream jet in the fleet of models the airframer makes. It also has great runway performance requiring 5,995-feet to take off or just 3,150-feet to land. There are at least 50 G700 jets that are ready or nearly ready for delivery to their respective customers.
