G500 World Tour Starts; 12 Cities Being Visited The Gulfstream G500 is soon expected to gain certification and entry into service and to drum up support, awareness and hopefully sales, they are taking the G500 on a world demo tour. In fact, they have started already and it is expected to run until June. During this tour the aircraft will visit 12 countries around the world. Of course the aircraft they will be using is a fully outfitted G500 and will demonstrate the cutting-edge and luxurious interior that this model can offer. It also gives Gulfstream an opportunity to test the interior in real-world operation just ahead of certification.
“This is a momentous year for the G500, with the aircraft’s planned certification and entry into service,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “It’s an ideal time for customers to explore an aircraft that is already noted for its large, wide cabin, outstanding performance and industry-leading technology. It also gives us an opportunity to thoroughly test and examine the fully outfitted interior as we prepare for the G500’s service entry,” he continued. Of the twelve stops expected to be made, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Milan, Moscow, Beijing and Melbourne will be among the cities visited. The demonstration world tour started earlier this month and took off from Dallas Love Field. For more information: Gulfstream Aerospace 500 Gulfstream Road Savannah, GA 31407 www.gulfstream.com ***
