So does anybody know what happened to the A380 private jet (ACJ) that was under construction built for an Arab client? Has that project been shelved? If it were flying we would have heard about it.

Airbus delivered the first A319 corporate jet (ACJ) that has been equipped with sharklets to an undisclosed but private customer on the eve of the NBAA convention. The sharklet ACJ319 now squarely competes with the Boeing 737-700-*derived Boeing Business Jet, which is listed at 6,200nm (11,500km) according to Airbus.

Jet Aviation Flight Services is adding its first Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) to its US fleet, registered under a Part 91 operation. The ACJ318 will be added to the Jet Aviation Flight Services Part 135 air carrier certificate early next year, making it the first Airbus ACJ318 available for charter in the US.

It will look even better, more robustly and powerfull with its new and rather larger CFM LEAP-1A (78" fan) or PW1100G-JM (81" fan) engines...
First A320NEO is on the production line waiting for its engines.

The smallest member of the A320 family, A318, is also offered with sharklets, but not foreseen in the NEO version. At least, not at the first time as the other family members...

In the picture: Airbus A318-112CJ (WL) Elite powered by 2 x CFMI CFM56-5B9/3 engines.

    Nice regards

I'm kind of surprised this thread hasn't been updated in over 9 years.

I was up at Airbus YMX this morning and they had a display setup of the ACJ-220. Sadly, not the actual aircraft. One of the airframes in the build hangar is apparently also destined for Comlux at some point in he future.
