2012 NBAA Static Display at NightFast Jets at Slow Shutter Speeds On opening day of the 2012 NBAA, Flexjet and Bombardier hosted an invitation-only event at the Orlando Executive Airport to showcase the new Learjet 85; the first private jet built primarily from carbon composites. Pictures & stats from the mock-up on display at the event will be the subject of another feature. JetForums photographer Tom Serio arrived, weary from five days of covering the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, joining JF's Carl Camper to roam around the tarmac, much like our post-show, evening dock-walks at FLIBS. Clear skies and cool temps set the tone for slow shutter speeds and a few of Tom's signature shots. As dusk fell upon us, it presented an opportunity for some spectacular night shots. A few of Bombardier's jets and a picture-perfect background became the focus of his lens. Here, you can see Bombardier rolled out the red carpet for us...

With five of the previous days spent covering the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show and battling Hurricane Sandy, we knocked off early and visited with reps at Bombardier's Static Display Tent. Special thanks to Erin Portman and Christopher Bero for inviting us to this year's Flexjet by Bombardier event. <end>
