Interesting news from Air New Zealand as they have announced they are purchasing the ALIA. If you are familiar in the electric aircraft and eVTOL space you would know the ALIA line of planes are by BETA Technologies. While this one is an all-electric aircraft, Air New Zealand has opted for the conventional take-off and landing variant of the ALIA. They will take delivery of the first example in 2026.
