Embraer completes first United States manufactured Phenom 300 Embraer is celebrating the completion of the first United States manufactured Phenom 300. Not only is the aircraft completed but it has already had its first flight as well. This particular aircraft will not be going to a client but will serve as a demonstrator aircraft for Embraer. The newly U.S-made Embraer Phenom 300 comes approximately one year after the first Phenom 100 made its first flight at the Melbourne, Florida facilities of Embraer. Things are happening for Embraer in the U.S, remember the Brazilian company opened it's Florida facilities in early 2011 and they recently announced the start of construction for a state-of-the-art engineering center for Q2 2014. http://www.jetforums.net/jet-aviation-news/656-construction-starts-embraer-research-center-florida.html#post2585.
