Eclipse Aerospace delivers first Eclipse 550 LJ​

New Mexico based company Eclipse Aerospace recently delivered their first Eclipse 550 LJ. Fittingly the jet has been delivered to a New Mexico-based client. The company’s CEO, Mason Holland, expresses his excitement about the first delivery: “Many new Eclipse 550 owners are upgrading from turboprop or piston aircraft, looking for the speed and enhanced safety of a twin-engine jet at an affordable price point,” Holland says. “The simplicity, safety, and ease of operation make the Eclipse 550 an attractive choice,” he continued.

The Eclipse 550 jet can fly to altitudes as high as 41,000-feet. The new successor to the 500 series has a range of around 1,125 nautical miles and has a maximum speed of 430 mph. The Eclipse 550 offers features and technologies that other light jets can only dream about. Features that enhance efficiency in order to lower the cost of ownership. The Eclipse 550 also offers the most robust set of safety features available in the light jet market, and all in the only twin-engine jet available for under $3MM.
