  1. First European-Based Cessna Citation M2 Delivered
The first European-based aircraft in the new Cessna Citation M2 line has been delivered to its customer. The first Citation M2 has gone to an aviation company in Forchtenberg, in the southwest of Germany. It is a memorable milestone for that company and indeed for Cessna as the delivery came six months after the Citation M2 was given the green-light by EASA. The twin engine M2 offers a pricepoint just under 5 million dollars (4.65 million) and a range good enough to connect Lisbon with Hamburg or Moscow with Frankfurt for example. That's a range of approximately 1,300 nautical miles the M2 has using its twin Williams International FJ44 engines. A maximum cruising speed of 400 knots ensures a quick transit between points. There is also the ability to carry approximately 3,810 lbs of load. The cockpit features the Garmin G3000 avionics suite and the cabin has the Clarity Cabin Management System. The first Citation M2 has gone to Germany's Atlas Air Services and Sales Director at Atlas Hans Doll has said that, "We expect an excellent positioning of Cessna’s new product in the light jet market in Germany and worldwide”.
