There is a new successor running the business at Honda Jet. His name is Hideto Yamasaki and he replaced Michimasa Fujino at the end of March. Fujino has lead Hondajet from its start to where it is now and Yamasaki is tasked with taking the airframer forward into the next chapter. Now he is going to be steering the company to the next chapter while keeping HondaJet owners and operators satisfied while continuing to add new customers and possibly new models, as you saw with the last and most recent enhancement to the HondaJet ELITE.
Honda Aircraft says it has settled its lawsuit with JETIT. The back and forth between the airframer and this particular operator has been noted with the operator not being shy about airing its displeasure with the airframer. That led to this news coming from Honda Aircraft recently. https://www.jetforums.net/threads/n...introduced-by-honda-aircraft.4575/#post-28743
Introducing the HondaJet Echelon. https://www.jetforums.net/threads/news-hondajet-2600-now-known-as-hondajet-echelon.4799/
This HondaJet has had a 'stormy' past. It used to belong to Michael Avenatti...for those who do not know this used to be a former lawyer of Stormy Daniels. And this plane was confiscated when he had all of his issues with the law and sent to jail. The plane has pretty much been sitting around reportedly having its engines run at least once a month. It has been sitting idle for around 5 years after U.S Federal Agents seized it. It is now ready to hit the market looking for a new owner. The jet was actually auctioned last year by the government and one of the two partners who acquired the jet pulled out while the other party can't justify their low operational use of the plane. So it is on the market again.
