This Bombardier Global seems color-adaptive to its background...

Talking about Jet Art, I found the colour of my old "working place" during the fly out of the F-4 F Phantom in the German Air Force quite adequat.

A clean F-4 F Phantom under his butt, one of the best things a young fighter pilot could dream of :D.

Almost looks like a connection between the Legacy 600 and the Phenom 100... same operator or just coincidental the liveries appear rather similar?

No, the last flight of an operational German Air Force F-4 F was in Sept. 2013, when I was able to take those pictures. This was the event, when I posted the pictures with the JF T-shirt hanging over the pitot boom of an F-4. All F-4 are phased out by now and replaced by Euro Fighters.

But my all time favorite Fighter Aircraft is and will always be the F-104 G Starfighter. I still have an complete F-104 Martin Baker Seat (unsused for ejection and dearmed of course) in my home office, together with some other souvenirs and memories. We former jet pilots call that our "I like myself corner". Or as we say, the older I get, the better I was :p.

Special paintings for fighter and other military aircraft have a long tradition with all flying forces in Europe. A special anniversary, a certain number of flying hours achieved by the wing or participation on a tiger meet were a nice reason for one of those paintings. We pilots tried all the time to meet in the air with other special painted jets for some nice shots. It was and still is part of the spirit, which always made the difference.

Btw. with a clean (means no external stores) F-104 G, you had to be very quick after lift off, raising the gear, otherwise you would overspeeded the gear doors.

Old and worn out but still carried proudly (together with my wings) on my helmet bag, the more than 1000 hours as PIC on the F-4 Phantom badge. The Cessna, Beechcraft and Bell folks do not provide those badges.

Serious colour-shifting paintwork on this Gulfstream.
