Another crash, not a military one this time. The search was resumed for a Grumman G44 amphibian that crashed into the Hudson River Thursday evening after finding no survivors at the scene the night of the accident. That crash reportedly happened around 4:30 p.m. on the day in Germantown, New York.

    Any updates on this crash?

It appears that Russian investigators have found the wreckage of an An-2 aircraft that mysteriously vanished last year. The aircraft was said to have conducted an unauthorised departure from Serov on the night of June 11, 2012 and wasn't seen since then. The 13 persons onboard were never found either.

A crashed Robinson R22 in the streets of Honolulu. Apparently the engine failed at 3,000-feet and the female pilot did an autorotation down onto Fort Street. The pilot's name is Julia Link and she reportedly told reporters, “First I thought it was a joke and then, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is for real.’”

Alenia Aermacchi pilot ejects from stricken M-346

Alenia Aermacchi says one of its test pilots is in a good condition after being forced to eject from a prototype M-346 advanced jet trainer yesterday. The incident represents the second loss of an M-346 prototype. The other prototype crashed off the coast of Dubai following an air show in 2011.

Indonesian investigators have said that the above Boeing 737 that crashed short of the runway in Bali never had visual contact with the runway. Although the aircraft's automated systems issued a "minimum" warning at 550-feet the crew disengaged the autopilot and autothrottle and continued the descent. Within a minute the 737 had descended to just 150ft and the captain took control of the aircraft, while the first officer again said that he could not see the runway. The enhanced ground-proximity warning system called a 20ft height alert and the pilot commanded a go-around but, just 1s later, the aircraft impacted the water.

A Brazilian air force KC-137 crashed on 26 May with no injuries to the 141 people aboard while attempting to take-off from the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port au Prince, Haiti. The Brazilian air force released a statement saying only that a "technical problem" caused the KC-137 to exit the runway around 15:30 GMT. Apparently, the aircraft was carrying troops back to Brazil after they took part in a half-year long UN stabalization program in Haiti.

Turns out that the British Airways A319 that had engine problems on take from Heathrow recently appears to have been negligence. The cowling doors on both engines appeared to have been left unlatched after routine maintenance.

Four people were killed in a midair collision involving two single-engine aircraft near Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix last Friday morning. Preliminary details on the fatal accident appear slim but a pilot apparently witnessed the event, seeing them collide around 10 a.m. MST approximately 15-miles west-northwest of the busy GA airport. As emergency/Rescue crews reached the crash site, only one aircraft could have been indentified at the time as it was fully destroyed by fire. The other aircraft involved in the accident was a Piper Archer, which remained intact and identifiable at the crash site.

Both of those were training aircraft. Lots of pilot training going on here in Phoenix, for both commercial aviation and private.

Not a pretty sight for this brand new Airbus A330-300 being operated by Swiss Airlines. Apparently this aircraft hit an airbridge at the Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport in Montreal.
