Dassault Aviation says it has completed the take over of TAG Aviation's MRO organization. That basically includes TAG's service centers in Geneva, Switzerland; Farnborough, UK; Paris Le Bourget; Lisbon, Portugal; and satellite operations in Luton, UK, and Moscow. The take over effective September 2 is intended to expand the company's worldwide service center network. "The relationship between TAG and Dassault has been built into a close-knit and formidable bond over the decades," TMS president Franck Madignier said. "We are delighted to enter into this new chapter with the strength of Dassault Aviation behind us and a bright future with an expanding customer base ahead of us."

First full exterior paint job of an Embraer Lineage 1000 for Ruag RRO International. The choices our customer made for optimizing the downtime succeeded in personalizing their aircraft while also enhancing performance and safeguarding accuracy in controlled airspace,” said Ruag MRO head of sales business jets Christian Karl. Other works were done to the aircraft during its stay including avionics work, cabin interior refresh etc. Optimizing the 48-month heavy maintenance visit downtime to coincide with additional aircraft services allowed the customer to realize time and cost savings. At the same time, they chose to implement upgrades set to reflect their individual image, enhance their comfort, resolve Embraer Service Bulletins (SB), and ensure compliance with the European Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Mandate 2020 for ADS-B Out and FANS.
