Cirrus Jet takes off with the ‘Vision SF50’ build program

Cirrus Jet has once again spread its wings with the new and steady backing of its Chinese Owners and the go-ahead to start building its new ‘Vision SF50’. The Vision SF50 is a small single engine jet good for hosting five adults and two children. Production won’t start just yet but by 2015, it is expected to take off.

Some of the subcontractor-suppliers have been named already by Cirrus Jet and include Williams International for the turbofan, Garmin for the Avionics and Flight Deck & Triumph Group for the trailing-link landing gear system. The new Cirrus Jet “well equipped” is expected to cost around 1.72-million from June 30th and 1.96-million July 1st. The Vision Jets will be produced in Cirrus’ Minnesota and North Dakota production facilities.
