  1. Bye Aerospace Receives Order From Reykjavik Flight Academy
A new order has come in for Bye Aerospace and it is from the Reykjavik Flight Academy. The order is for three eFlyer aircraft which are broken down into two eFlyer 2, which is a two-seater primary training aircraft and one eFlyer 4- the four-seater advanced training aircraft-. They also suggest that negotiations are ongoing for an agreement for a further two optional eFlyer aircraft. The type was not suggested since negotiations on that is being worked out.
  2. George E. Bye, CEO of Bye Aerospace said, "We are grateful to our partners at Reykjavik Flight Academy for their leadership in Iceland, and for recognizing the many important benefits of electric aviation. We look forward to many eFlyer deliveries of Reykjavik Flight Academy in the coming years." The use of electric aircraft for training is a great advantage. Electric motors can deliver a relatively high power output and the eFlyer 2 will deliver 150HP/110kW which is about 40-50% more than an equivalent class of combustion engine with no density altitude losses. Operational cost of the eFlyer aircraft will be 1/5 of that of a regular training aircraft with zero pollution. No doubt the eFlyer will continue to add more orders into the future.
