  1. First Deliveries Start Of The Citation Longitude
With Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Type Certification given to Textron Aviation for their Citation Longitude, deliveries have already started. The new Super midsize executive jet, the latest in that category to hit the market will signal a newness to the industry. "The newly certified Citation Longitude brings unrivaled technology to the business travel market, for both the passenger and the pilot, offering our customers the most efficient and productive super-midsize jet now in operation," said Ron Draper, president and CEO. "We are thrilled to now transition this program into service."
  2. "The Longitude was designed around maximizing reliability and operational availability for our customers," said Kriya Shortt, senior vice president, Global Customer Support. "The Longitude’s industry-leading on-board diagnostics system is backed by Textron Aviation’s team of 3,000 customer service employees. Our expert technicians trained alongside the development of the program and are ready to support our customers wherever they are in the world." For Textron, the Longitude is pretty much a clean sheet design offering the latest available technologies. In the cockpit you will find the next evolution of Garmin's G5000 flight deck. In the cabin, the quiet comfort is notable, nearly twice as quiet as the nearest competitor according to Textron. The cabin altitude is below 6,000 feet too helping to aid in a much rested body for the passengers.
