With the Cessna Citation Longitude expected to gain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and (European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification very soon, Texrton Aviation company Cessna is gearing up to show the best face of their newest aircraft to market. After the Singapore Airshow finished last month, a Citation Longitude that was on display departed the Seletar Singapore Airport (XSP) and flew non-stop to Sydney, Australia (SYD). 2. "This flight is a compelling demonstration of the aircraft’s outstanding long-range performance capability for common mission profiles throughout the Asia-Pacific region," said Scott Ernest, president and CEO. "It also signals Textron Aviation’s commitment to investment in the region – in both products and support." The Citation Longitude test program was carried out by five test articles with the fifth having a production interior and the previous four used for systems testing and analysis as well as functionality and reliability.
