  1. Slow Down At Dassault Falcon
French airframer Dassault Falcon has had a tougher time in business this year. They have been experiencing a slow down overall especially as it relates to deliveries as well as orders. First half year results recently were revealed and it showed that Dassault delivered 9 Falcon executive jets for the first half of 2023 which compared to the first half of 2022 is down from the 14 deliveries made then.
  2. Additionally, Dassault Falcon managed to sell 'only' 12 Falcons in the same period which is compared to 41 for the corresponding previous year. Order intake value naturally fell from approximately €16.3 billion ($18.3 billion) in the first half of 2022 to €1.7 billion. The company still is feeling the effects from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine which has trickle-down effect to the supply chain and related industries and customers. However, later this year the Falcon 6X should start deliveries and that should help be responsible for an increase in numbers. The Falcon 10X is also in development. The airframer is still maintaining that it will deliver 35 Falcon business jets for the year.
