Citation CJ4 GEN 2 Approved By EASA The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has given approval to Textron for their latest iteration of the Citation CJ4 (GEN 2). With the approval in hand, it now permits Textron to place deliveries into Europe. From this quarter deliveries should start to occur in Europe for the light twin jet. Among the first operators to receive the Cessna Citation GEN 2 in Europe will be Geneva-based charter operator DALaviation Switzerland.
New on the GEN 2 CJ4 that owners and operators will find handy include; two CoolView skylights in the lavatory and aft cabin; a new folding air stairs fitted with railing and integrated LED lighting as well as welcome light. Additionally, there are some new seating options available, the galley has improved storage and there is an upgraded cabin management system with is wireless.
