Daher Socata has enlisted the expertise of Elliott Aviation to install HomeSafe™, Daher's variant of Garmin's Autoland system. Elliott Aviation will perform the install/upgrade on eligible United States registered TBM 940s. They were waiting for the system to be certified by the authorities and since then JF published an article on the HomeSafe™system being approved by the FAA and EASA. https://www.jetforums.net/threads/news-dahers-homesafe™-autoland-on-tbm-940-certified.3537/
  2. "Elliott Aviation provides a solution for timely execution of the HomeSafe installations on aircraft from almost half of this year’s production output, which require multi-competency expertise for work that will be performed to factory standards," said Chabbert. "The company also has committed the necessary dedicated resources." A number of upgrades need to be done to the TBM940 in order for it to accept the Autoland technology. Work has to be done to the wiring and integration of electrical relays for the braking system, landing lights, flaps to be automatically activated. The refits will be executed at Elliot Aviation's HQ facility in Illinois.
