  1. Falcon 6X Wins International Yacht & Aviation Award For Interior Design
French airframer Dassault Falcon announced that their Falcon 6X which is currently under development has won the prestigious International Yacht & Aviation award for its interior design. "This prestigious award reflects the innovative manner in which our in-house Design Studio conceived the Falcon 6X cabin, which entailed going well beyond simply improving the aircraft’s interior decoration," said Dassault Aviation Chairman & CEO Eric Trappier. "With extensive input from customers, our engineers rethought the entire interior design process, employing a sensory design approach that will completely redefine the passenger flight experience."
  2. The interior of the 6X isn't just pretty to look at it is also actively working for the wellness and wellbeing of the passengers that travel onboard. Upholstered areas throughout the cabin are covered with micro-perforated fabrics, woven textiles and 3D fabrics designed to offer protection from microbes and absorb sound. Materials and finishing are optimized to absorb or reflect light in a way that ensures a soothing, pleasant ride. Smart-control mood lighting varies color patterns in accordance with the type of activity, time of day and season. Dassault Falcon jets are also known for having alot of windows in the cabin. They may not be as large as windows on many of Gulfstreams latest offerings but there are alot! On the 6X there are 30 windows in the cabin. There is also a window (skylight) in the ceiling above the galley allowing for natural light to reach a normally dim galley area. Entry into Service (EIS) for the Falcon 6X is still anticipated for 2022.
