  1. First Citation Latitude In Air Ambulance Configuration At EBACE '19
Textron Aviation's brand Cessna has a Citation Latitude at the 2019 edition of the European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE). This is a fairly routine display of a well-selling model but the eye-catching aspect about it besides its bright yellow paint job is that it is actually an Air Ambulance. It is the first Citation Latitude Air Ambulance made by Cessna/Textron Aviation. It belongs to Babcock Scandinavian Air Ambulance for aeromedical work in Norway.
  2. "For our mission-centric customers, we are excited about what the medevac Citation Latitude offers by the way of range, cabin size and speed in emergency situations where minutes count," said Doug May, Vice President, Special Missions. "Having our medical interior certified in production as part of the aircraft type certificate is another major win for our customers, providing significant cost and risk reduction for those outfitting the Latitude with their medical equipment of-choice as it comes off the line". Some features onboard include SATCOM radio for emergency communications, enlarged door for efficient and easy entry and exit. Area for single-sled stretcher. Textron says they are looking at certifying other aircraft for these Air Ambulance roles.
