First Pipistrel Velis Electro Operational In The U.S Pipistrel Aircraft announced today that they shipped the first Velis Electo to its United States based customer. The aircraft is the first Pipistrel Velis Electro is flying in the USA. This is an all-electric aircraft by the way and is the world's first certified electric plane holding EASA certification and has only now been flown in the U.S. The first customer is the Florida Institute of Technology.
