First HondaJet ELITE For Jet IT Delivered Recent Fractional start-up company Jet IT has taken delivery of its first HondaJet ELITE from the Honda Aircraft Company. Believe it or not, Jet IT was launched just a few months ago back in September by two former HondaJet sales executives. Hopefully this company will grow from strength to strength in the tough market. The CEO served time as a Lieutenant Colonel, United States Air Force Reserves.
With the first ELITE in hand, the new company is not stopping there. They actually ordered three units of the type and expect the other two to be delivered to them before mid-2019. Jet IT's operating model is interesting as a fractional ownership type of operation. They say that two to ten 'owners' are on one aircraft under the fractional ownership model usually. The company has its eyes set on overseas too and not just staying withing its home-base in North Carolina.
