Eviation Inks New Deal With GlobalX The Eviation ALICE all-electric aircraft that is currently in development has received another boost and added to the order tally. Miami-based charter company GlobalX has placed an order for 50 units of the Eviation ALICE. The companies announced the agreement today and GlobalX can expect to start taking deliveries from 2027. Although we should not get too far ahead of ourselves as the signing involved a Letter of Intent (LOI).
GlobalX is a young and growing company which focuses on charter using A320 series aircraft from Miami to the Caribbean and Latin American region. They also are getting into the cargo business with at least 15 aircraft under lease arrangements. As for the ALICE it would be the first time the company is going in a sustainable and green direction as the new aircraft is all-electric and would certainly give the company flexibility for operations near to Miami that do not require an A320. "Alice will enable GlobalX to introduce new, sustainable flight options for growing markets, including Miami, Orlando, and the Bahamas," the operator said. "GlobalX expects to take delivery of its initial Alice aircraft in 2027, and is evaluating the cargo aircraft variant of Alice for supporting its cargo customer base."
