Corporate Shuttle Variant Of Avanti EVO Available While the sale process of Piaggio Aerospace is still an ongoing battle, the airframer recently debuted a new interior configuration for the Piaggio Avanti EVO pusher turboprop. They are calling it the Corporate Shuttle configuration for the Avanti EVO. Even though it is a high-density interior configuration Piaggio is maintaining that it will be flexible from the standpoint of being able to be easily converted to medevac or cargo configurations.
With seating for seven passengers in a high-density layout, the shuttle-configured Evo is targeted at corporations and charter operators looking to provide group transportation. To broaden its appeal, the variant can "easily be reconfigured for cargo or medevac operations," said Piaggio Aerospace. While the EVO is still the latest iteration of the P180, it has been going though slight updates and the airframer is trying to broaden its appeal to a wider audience.
The current EVO variant is the third iteration of the P180 Avanti family of pusher prop turboprops. It was first introduced to the market back in 2015. The Italian government is now making a third attempt to try and sell Piaggio to a new buyer. Previous attempts in 2019 and 2022 ultimately failed and the airframer remains for sale still. Entities have up until the 12th of June to submit their information to hopefully be selected for a subsequent month-long vetting process.
