  1. Pilatus Had A Strong And Successful 2017
No doubt the certification and EIS of the Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet was the crowning achievement for Pilatus Aircraft in 2017. However, looking past that and overall the Swiss company did exceedingly well for the past year. The airframer raked in nearly 1 billion (986 million) Swiss francs worth of aircraft sales. They also managed to deliver 115 aircraft overall. The future looks good too for the company. At 2.17 billion Swiss francs, the current order volume is equivalent to more than two years in sales revenue.
  2. 2018 will be focused on continuing that overall success and also parenting the PC-24 from service entry to dominance in its market. The main goal for 2018 is to ensure a successful and wide-reaching launch for the PC-24. Oscar J. Schwenk, Chairman of the Board of Pilatus said, "in Stans we are building a new aerostructures hall, made from local timber, to be equipped with state-of-the-art automation technology. Hence long-term investment in the future of Pilatus continues, along with an enduring commitment to our Swiss location!"
