Sukhoi SuperJet 100 Business Aircraft Uptick Since we reported on the first delivery of the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 VIP aircraft to a customer, deliveries have kept up. Part of this has to do with a deal that Swiss completions center Comlux made that involved a value of around 200 million dollars to fit out about six SSJs with bespoke VIP interiors. The aircraft are flown to Comlux's Indianapolis completions facilities to be fitted with the interiors. The latest of them happens to be the final unit in a batch of three SSJs that went to the Thai Air Force.
Even though this aircraft was delivered to the Thai Air Force, the interior has been fitted to VIP standards as it will be utilized to transport, high level government officials and high rank military officers. As mentioned before, this aircraft is the third and final in an order for three that was made in 2014. It doesn't end here for the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company. They have an SSJ 100 for a private customer that is due for delivery in 2019. That aircraft is expected to be handed over to a customer in Africa. As many as 10 SSJs have been delivered to customers.
