Early 2021 For SyberJet SJ30i Deliveries To Commence It looks as though SyberJet is pressing ahead with the work they have to do in relation to the newest iteration of their SyberJet, the SJ30i or version 2.0. They are working towards an amended Type Certificate for the aircraft and because it will have a new autopilot, and new avionics based on the Honeywell Epic 2.0 and a host of other features full testing is naturally required.
Aircraft Control Identification Tests (ACID) which are important to support the new autopilot have been successfully completed according to the airframer. Honeywell is working closely with Syberjet in regards to the autopilot and based on the test data that is garnered from Syberjet testing Honeywell will take that data and essentially fine-tune the autopilot for the new Syberjet later this Spring.
