Tamarack Installs Its First Active Winglets In Europe Tamarack Aerospace has expanded outside of its Sandpoint, Idaho base and is now carrying out ACTIVE Winglet installations in Europe. Their first installation of the Active winglets was on a Citation CJ2 operated by Sovereign Business Jets (SBJ). "SBJ is excited to undertake the first European Installation of Tamarack’s Active Winglets on our recently purchased CJ2. With JMI’s expertise, the installation has gone smoothly," says Barry Chalmers, Managing Director of Sovereign Business Jets. Another Citation jet (a CJ1) from their fleet is expected to be fitted with the winglets by next month. By early November the CJ1 should have completed its retrofit with the fuel-saving winglets.

This Tamarack European Installation Centre operates independently out of the Oxford Jet Maintenance International (JMI) facility.
