Canada Certifies Embraer Praetor 600 Transport Canada has given the nod to the Embraer Praetor 600 certifying it for operations across Canadian jurisdictions. "The certification by Transport Canada Civil Aviation reinforces the great momentum of the Praetor 600 in the global market," said Embraer Executive Jets president and CEO Michael Amalfitano. "Canada is an important market for Embraer, and we are excited to continue to serve this market with our industry-leading products."
The Praetor 600 offers a spacious cabin with the capability to transport its passengers from capital cities in Canada to destinations outside of North America. For example, within the aircraft's 4,018 nautical mile long cruising range are city-pairs like Montreal to Paris, Calgary to Honolulu or Toronto to London. At a faster speed of Mach 0.80 Praetor should be able to fly 3,700 nautical miles. With the latest validation, Embraer can now ship Canadian registered Praetor 600s to the Canadian North American landscape. The 600 already has FAA certification.
