First Crewed eVTOL Flight Made By Volocopter Volocopter can now boast that they are essentially the first eVTOL developer company to have flown a crewed prototype aircraft. Although a few eVTOL developers are eying 2024 as their launch periods, Volocopter intends to also launch in 2024 but in time for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris that year. Volocopter is just one of many contenders in the futuristic Urban Air Mobility space but is likely to be one of the first set to come to market.
