Sustainable Jet Fuel (SAF) and Aviation Sustainability

Banyan Air Services is among the first to stock permanent supplies of SAF in South Florida. “Offering SAF is a monumental step for Banyan and the aviation community at FXE,” explained COO Jon Tonko. “As the most effective way to reduce the environmental footprint of aviation today, SAF aligns with Banyan’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and supporting our customers in their efforts to fly greener.”

Del Monte Aviation takes its first electric refueler. The 5,000 gal capacity truck was delivered by Avfuel on the 17th of March. “The delivery of our electric-powered refueler truck further highlights both Avfuel’s and Del Monte Aviation’s commitment to sustainability within their operations and beyond,” said David Mittleman, Avfuel’s regional sales manager. He noted that the collaboration between the two “showcases a powerful model for how the industry can come together to drive sustainability forward.”
