Textron Aviation Delivers 1000th Citation 560XL Series Jet

1000th Milestone Citation 560XL Series Delivered

The latest Cessna Citation 560XL series jet has been delivered to a customer by Textron Aviation. The milestone aircraft -a Citation XLS+- went to Custom Jet Charters a part 135 operator out of Florida (Palm Beach) and New York (Westchester County). This 560XL series is divided between three aircraft models, the Excel, XLS, and XLS+ and together since 1998 have accumulated 1,000 deliveries.

"This milestone delivery is a direct reflection of our customers’ trust and the dedication of our employees who continue to build and support the Citation 560XL family of aircraft." From the factory, the XLS+ example is fitted with Collins Pro-Line 21 which has four displays. It is a capable aircraft with an economical range of 2,100 nautical miles and a top speed of 441-knots. It can also reach FL450 (45,000 ft) in 29 minutes.
