Cessna Citation CJ3+ Attains EASA and Brazilian Certification
American airframer Cessna has announced that it recently attained certification from two major regulatory bodies, the Brazilian and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the Citation CJ3+ business jet. The double certification on both sides of the Atlantic comes at a good time allowing Cessna/Textron Aviation to begin deliveries of the CJ3+ to customers in the respective regions later this year. Embraer Legacy 500 Establishes Four Speed Records
Brazilian business jet manufacturer Embraer Executive has announced that the Embraer Legacy 500 has established four speed records. Of course the new speed records are for its size class and not exclusively at the top of the business jet world. The first two records were set for “Speed over a Recognized Course” on a round-trip flight from Oakland, California to Lihue, Hawaii, with six passengers on board, covering 2,135 nm (3,954 km). The flight from Oakland to Lihue, on March 7, was completed in 5 hours and 49 minutes, achieving an average ground speed of 420 mph (676 km/h)...

Pilatus PC-24 Jet Takes To The Skies For The First Time
Pilatus Aircraft has celebrated a major milestone in their history today as the first test-bed unit in the Pilatus PC-24 jet took to the skies.
