Daher-Socata has unveiled the new aircraft in the TBM series yesterday. The aircraft is really an update to the successful TBM850 and is being called the TBM 900, fittingly. The new aircraft ups on performance, efficiency and comfort. While the new aircraft keeps the same P&W Canada PT6A-66D engine the improved performance stems from the marked upgraded aerodynamic optimization of the airframe and the engine air intake configuration. New Mexico based company Eclipse Aerospace recently delivered their first Eclipse 550 LJ. Fittingly the jet has been delivered to a New Mexico-based client. The company’s CEO, Mason Holland, expresses his excitement about the first delivery: “Many new Eclipse 550 owners are upgrading from turboprop or piston aircraft, looking for the speed and enhanced safety of a twin-engine jet at an affordable price point,” Holland says. “The simplicity, safety, and ease of operation make the Eclipse 550 an attractive choice,” he continued.

Beechcraft Corporation today announced its fourth-quarter and year-end 2013 delivery data.
