Cessna Ramping Up On Citation Longitude Progress
American builder Cessna is speeding up the efforts on their new flagship model, the Citation Longitude. With the Cessna Citation Latitude research program coming to a close, they are focused on getting the Longitude into production. Toward the latter half of 2014, the Longitude development program accelerated and is expected to continue into 2015. The debut of the aircraft was supposed to have been in 2017 with a first flight in 2016 but it may not happen on that timeline. Dassault Falcon 8X Starts Flight Test Campaign
Since rolling out the Dassault Falcon 8X, French airframer Dassault Falcon has not commenced the flight test campaign for this aircraft until now. The first flight occurred approximately seven weeks after the famed fanfare of the roll-out ceremony. The initial flight did not last that long, starting around 2 pm in the afternoon leaving the Bordeaux Mérignac Airport.
