Hawker Beechcraft Installs First Hawker 400XPR Avionics Upgrade

Hawker Beechcraft today announced that the first customer aircraft in the Hawker 400XPR upgrade program is undergoing the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics system upgrade at its Hawker Beechcraft Service facility in Atlanta. The avionics upgrade is the first component of the 400XPR Program to receive Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification.

Hawker 400XPR- “The first customer aircraft to receive the avionics upgrade is an important step in the 400XPR program,” said Christi Tannahill, Hawker Beechcraft senior vice president, Global Customer Support. “The program is moving forward with great energy, and we look forward to giving all Hawker 400-series operators access to the only factory-completed, factory-warrantied and factory-serviceable enhancements in the market today.”

The Hawker 400XPR is the only factory-direct aircraft upgrade program for the Hawker/ Beechjet 400 series that combines the aerodynamics of genuine Hawker winglets, propulsion of FJ44-4A-32 engines, optional Pro Line 21 avionics and additional system enhancements. The first flight of the Hawker 400XPR engine test article was completed in May with new Williams International FJ44-4A-32 engines. Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) has aligned its entire network of more than 100 factory owned and authorized services centers around the globe to support Hawker 400XPR operators and help them simplify their aircraft ownership, reduce operating cost and increase resale value.
